SBI Clerk 2016 Exam Eligibility:

ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA

Essential Academic Qualifications:
(i) For Junior Associates: The candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
(ii) For Junior Agricultural Associates : The candidate should be a graduate in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognised university/Institute.

SBI Clerk 2016 Age Limit:

The candidates applying for the exam must be between 20 to 28 years of age as on 01.04.2016.

SBI Clerk Exam Schedule:

Although, this year's exam dates have passed, but aspiring candidates should start preparing for next year without any delay.

Several thousand aspirants sit for the exam every year and hence, the competition is very high. Practice each section as much as you can and master your time-management skills.

The online registration usually starts from April and the preliminary exam is conducted in May-June. After the results of the prelims are declared, the main exam is conducted around July-August after which the call letters of the interview are sent to the qualifying candidates.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2016:

Preliminary Examination: Preliminary exam consists of 100 objective questions which need to be solved within 1 hour. Exam carries a total of 100 marks, which mean the candidates have to complete 1 question in 60 seconds. The questions will be asked from various sections, including English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The Candidates will have to qualify in each section.

Main Examination: The time duration for SBI Clerk Main Examination is 2 hour 40 minutes. Exam will consist of 190 objective-type questions of 200 marks. The questions will be divided into various sections - General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude.

Interview: Candidates who will qualify the main examination will be placed according to their marks in descending order in respective categories.

Negative Marking: 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
