Physics THE UNIVERSAL LAW OF GRAVITATION

Newton's law of Gravitation :

Newton's law of gravitation states that every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The direction of the force is along the line joining the particles. Therefore from Newton's law of gravitation.

`vec F=(Gm_1m_2)/r^2 hat r`..............(1)

where `G` is called the gravitational constant.its value in `SI` unit system is `6.67 xx 10^(-11)` and r is the unit vector along the line joining the two mass particles.

The gravitational force between two particles form an action reaction pair.
